Laguna Mountain - Triple Peak Day

On the way to Monument Peak
I base camped at Burnt Rancheria Campground and did three hikes that day. These were all new trails and peaks for me that I had never hiked before. Monument Peak - Garnet Peak - Red Tailed Roost Loop which reaches more like a high rolling ridge through the forest. It was a magical day of solo hiking. After the hike I was treated to a rare and chance invitation to go to the observatory here on the mountain and view the heavens through a 22 inch lens telescope.
Utilizing the pacific crest trail through the pine forest on the  way to Monument  Peak.
