I keep coming back to these mountains lately. This time Brett was up for a mountain adventure. It is always a treat for me to introduce someone to this amazing area. Most people that I know have no idea that there are places like this in San Diego. This particular area requires some definite exercise to get in and out of there. We explored, braved an ice cold jump into the punchbowl at the base of the falls, enjoyed lunch and some serenity at the top of the falls, tripped on all of the wildflowers and the finished off the day with the strenuous hike up and out of the canyon.
