San Luis Rey River - Spring Bloom

The Spring wildflower bloom has started in Oceanside. I found that the north side of the river and on the slopes of the hills adjacent to it has some of the best wildflowers in town. Many of the types of flowers that grow in the Chaparral, Sage Scrub, and Riparian habitats can be found here taking of like crazy around mid to late March.

Every spring along the trails down by the San Luis Rey River in Oceanside, entire fields and hillsides explode with blooming flowers, mostly daisies and some other flowers too.
